Umbilically stumped, that is! Gabriel’s umbilical cord stump finally dried all the way up and fell off this morning, so his belly button is visible at last.

Wow – that was fast with the stump falling off. Stryker’s took 4 weeks to fall off, and when I realized it was gone, I was so surprised that I set him down on the ottoman while I looked for it in my shirt, and he rolled off the ottoman and onto the floor.

It’s very fast thing! Yuzuka took 2 weeks to fall off, and that time I was changing a her diaper.
The umbilical popped when it was fall off.

I remember when my stump fell off…or did I fall off a stump…hmmm. Whichever, it was definitely a memorable moment in my life.
