The Return of Sleeping Through the Night?
Posted by Christina on Friday Oct 23, 2009 Under Gabriel, Pictures, Sleep DeprivationI’m hoping last night was not a fluke because Gabriel slept from 8pm until 8am this morning. He has not slept that long since right before he turned six months. For the last month he has been waking up once or twice a night acting like he’s starving. Last night I heard him start to fuss at 12:29am. I decided to give him five minutes and see if he would go back to sleep. The next thing I knew I was waking up all on my own and it was 7:22am. And he didn’t wake up for another half hour! I felt so refreshed this morning.
In other good news, Gabriel’s plugged tear duct has opened. We went to visit Grandma & Grandpa Finke in Winona last weekend and sometime over the course of the weekend it must have opened because his eye has been draining fine now. We haven’t had to clean it out once.

I am so jealous of you guys! I am reading this at 6:19am after having already fed and dressed Peytra for the day since she refuses to sleep anymore. I don’t know how she can be so awake since she woke up more times last night than I can count. What I CAN count is the number of nights she has slept through the night, and I think it’s 5 total for her life. :(
