Gabriel took his first trip to the zoo (Como Zoo) on Memorial Day with Grandma and Grandpa Tewes and Aunt Laura. I felt a little bad that I didn’t go along for his first zoo trip, but my mom said he didn’t get very interested in the animals anyway. He was to busy looking for balls. Chris and I stayed home and set up our new grill. This was the first time since he was born that Chris and I were completely alone in the house. I kept thinking I had to be quiet because he was sleeping. After the zoo, everyone came over for burgers and hot dogs. Gabriel slept great that night. I think they really tired him out.
This Land is Your Land, This Land is Our Land…
Posted by Christina on Monday Jun 14, 2010 Under LifeA few months ago, Chris and I became land-owners. We bought 65 acres of farmland in Cedar Mills, MN (just a few miles outside Hutchinson). The land previously belonged to my Grandma Krueger (my mom’s mom) who passed away about a year ago. We are currently renting the land to a local farmer. A few weeks ago, we went out to Hutchinson for a party at my aunt’s house, and we took a good look at our land. Here it is:
These pictures are of Gabriel, not the land.
A Morning at the Park

Bennett is just a few months older than Gabriel. It was a beautiful morning and Rachel was even able to “persuade” great grandma Mielke to come along too. Here are a few pictures:
